Radio is a blast! Chase has been terrorizing the airwaves off and on for over 25 years. He has worked with radio stations in Jonesboro, Louisiana and Center, Texas. Chase is a U.S. Navy veteran who was stationed in Los Angeles, California. He served on board the USS New Jersey BB-62, it had a radio station and it had him! There was nothing like spinning wax on a turntable at sea. He also worked in New Orleans with an adult contemporary station. Chase had the distinct honor of opening the microphone for the original home of the Louisiana Hayride, KWKH! El Dorado is such a neat town with great people and the KIX 103 Morning Show is the greatest radio gig he’s ever had. If he sounds delusional on-air don’t worry, His doctor says it’s ok! In the meantime, strap yourself in, and turn the radio on…cuz the ride isn’t over!!!

Boomer came to the KIX 103 Morning Show about 4 years ago. He was "discovered", you might say, by station manager Sandy Sanford on local TV cable access channel doing a LIVE TV fundraiser for the local Civitan Club in El Dorado. Troy Barrios plays “Boomer” on KIX 103. Troy is originally from South Louisiana and a self proclaimed “Cajun”. Barrios graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a BA in Vocal Music. After college Troy pursued a career in the oil industry with his family in Oklahoma. After working there for 10 years, he moved to South Arkansas. “Boomer” listed radio as being on his top 10 list of things he has always wanted to do. “Now I’m living La Vida Loca!” Boomer shouted while dancing on top of his desk during the morning show.
